A dream comes true: Mood Food, food that makes us happy!
On my journey looking for the secret of laughter and luck I encountered the secret of mood food.
Whether we experience food with relish and happiness depends on the subjective perspective. Yet there is food rich in ingredients, which boost our mood.
Serotonin is our happy hormone which is built by the help of a protein called tryptophan.
Parmesan, cocoa, soya beans, meat, lentils, fish and of course chocolate are all rich in tryptophan and are boosting our serotonin levels.
Some who like it spicy will get high on the "Pepper-High-Effect". The burning pain caused by chilis sets some endorphines free, which also contribute to our happiness.
